Industrial cranes for thermal power plants

GRUAPA-JASO ARGENTINA has provided two gantry cranes for two power generation plants in Argentina
Need
The Albanesi Energía SA Group dedicated to the energy sector, required lifting equipment for its Roca Thermal Power Plant Cycle Closure project in Río Negro and for the cogeneration project at the Timbues Cogeneration Thermal Power Plant in the province of Santa Fe.
Solution
GRUAPA-JASO ARGENTINA has been entrusted to carry out both projects, providing a 60/15 tonne double girder crane with a span of 24,000 m for its Roca plant, which is expected to start operating during the first quarter of 2018. An important project as well in environmental terms, since it will entail no additional consumption of fossil fuel.
Further to the Roca plant, JASO has also installed a 70/20-12 tonne double-girder crane with a span of 11,800 m. equipped with TANDEM mechanisms for the Timbues Cogeneration plant which will generate electric and steam power.
