JASO GROUP, a group of companies that are leaders in the lifting machinery industry, celebrates its 50th anniversary
Donostia- San Sebastian, 2 July 2015 – The JASO group celebrated 50 years of business and paid tribute to its founders, partners, and personnel that have worked since 1965, to make the Group successful. The Group consists of leaders in their respective markets primarily the manufacture of lifting machinery.
The workers of the three companies comprise the JASO Group, were all present at this ceremony – JASO Tower Cranes, JASO Industrial Cranes, and JASO Elevation Systems. Some of them came to Getaria from the main production plants, located in Itsasondo, Idiazabal and Salvatierra, whereas others travelled hundreds of miles from different production plants spread across Spain to be present on such a significant date. A total of 500 guests commemorated 50 years of history.
José Joaquin Susperreguí, one of the founder partners of the JASO Group and the current President, opened the event with an emotional speech, recounting the history of the group. He recognized those who, along with himself, created the company but who were no longer present. Also he paid tribute to the retirees, to the commitment of all those involved in overcoming the crisis, and stressing on the importance of teamwork. All these are needed to face the future with optimism and the ability to continue for many years to come.
