Need<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Since 2014, Iberdrola has been working on one of its largest energy projects in Northern Portugal, which involves the construction of three hydroelectric power plants along the T\u00e2mega River basin: Gouv\u00e3es, Alto T\u00e2mega and Daiv\u00f5es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solution<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Spanish energy group asked us for 9 pieces of lifting equipment with different capacities for the maintenance of the three new facilities. The cranes are intended to ensure that the hydroelectric power complex works at full capacity throughout its lifespan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2019, we set up three cranes\u2014a 20-tonne double-girder\u00a0gantry crane\u00a0and two 150\/20-tonne\u00a0double-girder cranes\u00a0for the Gouv\u00e3es pumping station, which will be the first to begin operations in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At present, we are in the construction phase of the 6 remaining cranes for the Alto T\u00e2mega and Daiv\u00f5es hydroelectric power plants, where we will supply two 15-tonne double-girder semi-gantry cranes, two 20-tonne\u00a0single-girder cranes\u00a0and two 200-tonne double-girder cranes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
